Synopsis: Make your stand against evil with this exciting Collection of 4 DC Showcase Animated Shorts starring favorite DC Comics super heroes! Review: Dc Comics has been putting out some very cool Dc Universe features over the past few years and with the recent features they have been producing animated shorts.  This new blu-ray set collects the following Dc Showcase Animated Shorts: Jonah Hex (Batman: Under the Red Hood), Green Arrow (Superman/Batman: Apocalypse) and The Spectre (Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths) and a brand new short Superman/Shazam: The Return of Black Adam, which is a whopping 22 minutes ( a great length for a Dc Showcase Short!).

Superman/Shazam is a great little feature that is primarily full of action and battle between some of the coolest superheroes and villains in the DCU.  It’s a fun watch and this collection is a great way to preserve the new era of Dc animation for any collector.  In some cases these shorts have been better than the actual Dc Universe feature films.

The special features on this blu-ray include: Commentaries by writers Steve Niles, Joe Lansdale, Greg Weisman, and Michael Jelenic and Four bonus TV episodes picked by Bruce Timm.
