Stand-Up Guys Blu-Ray Review
Synopsis:
STAND UP GUYS stars Academy Award winners Al Pacino, Christopher Walken and
Alan Arkin as retired gangsters who reunite for one epic last night. But one of
the friends is keeping a dangerous secret - he has to kill his friend, and his
time to find an acceptable alternative is running out. As the sun rises on the
guys' reunion, their position becomes more and more desperate and they finally
confront their pasts once and for all.
Review: If you're looking for a film that has three legendary actors..this one is for you! This film is half life drama and half dark comedy. The film is dominated by Walken and Pacino, who both do great, but the real highlight of the film is Alan Arkin, who is a favorite of mine. The film is a great aftermath to the criminal buddy flick..we get to see what happens to aging criminals, with a very gratifying conclusion. I highly recommend this one!
