Dallas: Season 3 DVD Review
Synopsis: "Dallas" Season 3 packs even more dramatic and emotional wallop than its predecessors when turmoil strikes Southfork. From every direction, scandal and treachery mean greater family divisions, along with tenuous alliances and diabolical double-crosses. John Ross (Josh Henderson) continues to prove he's J.R.'s son, becoming more cunning than his daddy ever was. He's determined to seize control of the Ewing empire, setting his sites on global energy domination - and he's not about to cut Christopher (Jesse Metcalfe) and Bobby (Patrick Duffy) in for their share. Meanwhile, as if Elena (Jordana Brewster) hasn't done enough damage to her relationship with Christopher, she returns to Southfork with her own devious agenda. Sue Ellen (Linda Gray) conspires to put the wedding plans for John Ross and Pamela (Julie Gonzalo) on ice when she uncovers the groom's affair with Emma (Emma Bell). It looks like the Ewing clan couldn't possibly survive any more malefactions or stunning surprises... But that doesn't mean there aren't more coming.
Review: Dallas was a legendary series when I was growing up. My parents never missed an episode. When TNT brought the show back as a continuation it was must-see! This DVD set collects the third, and unfortunately, final season of the newer Dallas series. Its a shame that the series is ending before its time. The third season was the best, as the show really hit a nice stride. The drama was excellent and to see J.R.'s son evolve into a monster like his dad was such a treat. If you dig this show, this DVD set is a must have!
