The Eastwood Factor (Extended Edition) DVD Review

Synopsis: For 35 years Clint Eastwood has called Warner Bros. home. In The Eastwood Factor (Extended Version), film historian Richard Schickel (You Must Remember This: The Warner Bros. Story) ventures beyond Eastwood’s tough, iconic screen personas to reveal the easygoing and thoughtful man behind the magic. Morgan Freeman narrates this insightful profile that features memorable film clips and visits to movie locations, the Warner Bros. lot and Eastwood's hometown Carmel where, with humor, candor and intelligence, Eastwood illuminates the craft behind his legendary work on both sides of the camera to create a rare experience that is pure, unadulterated Clint.

Review: Who doesn't love Clint Eastwood, right?  Not only do you get all of the films in his archive, but you get the Eastwood Factor.  The Eastwood Factor is a great documentary that we got the chance to check out.  Let me tell you, it was fantastic.  You get an up-close and personal look at Eastwood..his legacy and you hear a lot from the man himself.

You get stories about the early days of Eastwood working with Warner Bros.  You even see the effect that he holds today, when he discusses how he saved a sound recording studio on the Warner lot that was used to score most of his films.  They've now named it the Eastwood studio and its functional again.  The narration by Morgan Freeman helps to make this documentary enjoyable and most certainly interesting.

Rating: Clint Eastwood, Documentary, Action / Adventure, Westerns
