Review: Disney is known throughout the world for their amazing animated features. In their library you have the classics..the Princess movies and the greats like the Lion King and Toy Story, but there are a few lesser-known and often overlooked films. One of those is the Black Cauldron. It is often misunderstood and labeled a failure, when in all honestly its a fantstic movie.
I think what pushed people away from the Black Cauldron was the fact that it does contain a few scenes that are perhaps too scary for very little ones. I can tell you that watching it as an adult is quite the experience. Its really fantastic and fanciful and full of life, just what you expect from something with the Disney name on it!
New bonus features include: Deleted scene: The Fairfolk: Join Taran, Fflewddur Fflam, Gurgi, and Princess Eilonwy as they travel into the depths of the earth, and meet the Fairfolk, The Witches’ Challenge Game: In order to defeat the dark powers of the Horned King, you must get the magical sword. The sword is held by the Witches of Morva. Solve their riddles and the sword is yours
