Review: Ricky Gervais is comedy gold. Everything he touches I bust a gut laughing at, from his stand-up to the Office to Ghostworld. Now, it needs to be qualified that in order to enjoy Gervais, and this film that he wrote and directed, you need to "get" british comedy. This is most definately a british comedy.
This is a great british coming of age film. It has uncomfortable comedy and some great situations that will leave you wanting more. I highly recommend this one!!
