Review: The third season of Highlander is where the show has finally hit a stride and has really picked-up after the tragic death of Tessa in season 2. Duncan is living in the gym and keeping his secrets from Charlie. Meanwhile, he encounters all types of immortal baddies in his quest to live.
The first season release of Highlander met with some fan controversy, although this reviewer knew enough about the source material picture quality to completely understand any element of imperfection that the blu-ray was bound to have. Season 2 did have a great improvement, along with some amazing extras, some of which included fan involvement. This time around, the picture quality is crisp and the colors really pop. The menus are a much better quality and all-around this is a really improved release. Its a joy to own. We highly recommend it for any Highlander fan. The Highlander blu-ray releases just keep getting better and better.
