Synopsis: Oscar-nominated actor Casey Affleck (Gone Baby Gone) gives his most chilling performance yet in the controversial crime drama The Killer Inside Me. Review: The Killer inside me is essentially a new adaptation of the Grifters.  Its based on the same literary text.  This time around we have Casey Affleck playing the dopey but sinister sheriff and Jessica Alba and Kate Hudson playing leading female roles.  This film is a great mixture of period noir and modern violence.  It has a few rather intense moments, its certainly not one for the kiddies. 

Overall, quite an enjoyable, if not dark and twisty, film.  It looks fantastic on blu-ray, in fact it has so many scenes with a dark hue that you may need to see it in that format to get the appropriate amount of clarity!
