Review: Growing up I wasn't a fan of the original Tron.  It always felt dated to me by the time I saw it.  I'm very pick about sci-fi.  Now, when I saw the trailers for Tron Legacy it finally looked like the tech caught up to the story!  The story picks up as Sam Flynn lost his dad after the events of the original Tron film.  He just disappeared.  Many years later the troubled youth is paged back to the Flynn arcade and is sucked right into the grid!  And from then on its an action showcase of the programs vs. the users!  The film isn't big on in-depth plot, its pretty basic.  Son goes after long lost father and helps him ammend his past errors for an ultimate redemption.  The big things about this movie are A> the visual effects, which are stunning, especially in 3D! Also, B> the soundtrack.  Daft Punk did the music for this film..and it shows.  It really helps add to the tone of the film.  This one is a showcase action-flick for fun only.  Keep that in mind and you'll love it.
