The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader Blu-Ray Review
Synopsis: Return to the magic and wonder of C. S. Lewis' epic world in this third installment of the beloved Chronicles of Narnia fantasy-adventure series. When Lucy and Edmund Pensive, along with their cousin Eustace, are swallowed into a painting and transported back to Narnia, they join King Caspian and a noble mouse named Reepicheep aboard the magnificent ship The Dawn Treader. The courageous voyagers travel to mysterious islands, confront mystical creatures, and reunite with the Great Lion Aslan and a mission that will determine the fate of Narnia itself!
Review: This third installment of the Chronicles of Narnia series follows-up two very well recieved feature films. I used to read this book series as a kid and I absolutely adored it. Admittedly, I'm a bigger Tolkien fan.
While there is sword fighting and action in this flick, there isn't a war going on in Narnia for once! This is mostly a mystery film with some action inter-mixed. The special effects in this film are slightly improved in most areas than the last two. The characters are right on and this is a fun continuance of this great fantasy film series. The blu-ray looks absolutely fantastic and is packed with extras:
