Synopsis: Money Shot finds Cummings riffing on a wide range of topics chiefly, the differences between men and women and how both tend to behave in relationships. And before you roll your eyes at the very thought of another comic covering this well-worn territory, Cummings has found an approach to the material that's unique enough to make her take on it very compelling. She's a foul-mouthed "guy's girl" who surrenders none of her femininity in order to be accepted by the male half, and she's just as honest and critical of women as she is of men. Her act never turns into "we're smart, you're not." Well, mostly.

Review: We love stand-up here at the Legion, but we're very particular.  There are so many comedians out there trying to make a name for themselves, but they just fall short.  They try too hard or their timing is off or their jokes are just plain terrible.  Whitney Cummings is a comedian you may have seen on the Comedy Central Roasts.  Well...you would've had to, because she hasn't done a lot else.  Thats not to negate her talent.  I want to say up front that Whitney is absolutely one of the top five best comedians out there today.

Her humor is aggressive and inappropriate.  Its dirty, yet thoughtful and you can really see a beauty to every situation that she throws your way.  This DVD covers her recent stand-up special, which my wife and I tuned into when it aired.  The nice thing about this DVD is the uncensored aspect!  There is nothing I hate more than bleeped-out comedy!  Its one of those things that should be given a pass.

Whitney Cummings is hilarious.  She's mean.  She's downright fantastic.  If you don't buy this DVD you're an idiot.  Thats right..IDIOT!  And we all know you can't abide my scorn.  This one guarantees laughs.
