Ernest Scared Stupid 1991 / Color / 91 Mins / PG When Ernest looks to help some children with their Halloween haunted house, he ends up accidentally unleashing an evil troll that intends to bring about the end of the World. This will be one Halloween that Ernest and his pals will never forget!
Review: Who didn't love Ernest? Come on, be honest! The late Jim Varney was remembered for his work as Slinky Dog in Toy Story, but before that he was talking to the imaginary Vern and giving us everything he had in the Ernest film franchise. The ultimate character actor, Sacha Baron Cohen could learn a thing or two!
All three of these films were box office successes, but our favorite is Ernest Scared Stupid. It is one of the best halloween-themed films in existance and his highly underrated. These cult classics were very beloved in their day and should see a comeback in popularity on the underground scene again soon. The comedy is still great and the stories are fun.
Mill Creek has released this triple back for a super cheap price, which is fantastic. You can get all three films for around $7. Seriously...$7! How can you say no to that? We can't.
