Synopsis: Executive produced by three of the celebrated masterminds behind the groundbreaking Funny or Die website – Will Ferrell, Adam McKay and Chris Henchy – this half-hour sketch-comedy series provides a creative forum for dozens of America’s most talented comedians, actors and writers all contributing segments to the so-called “Funny or Die Network,” in an anything-goes comedy environment.

Review: I never saw this show while it was on HBO.  Its a sketch comedy show done in that retro style that Will Ferrell has coined with movies like Anchorman.  The first season includes 12 full episodes.  

The show features a ton of very talented guest stars, just like SNL.  The show, again like SNL, is hit and miss.  There are some sketches that are outright hilarious and ground breaking.  There are also others that are kind of a miss.  I suppose which is which depends on your brand of humor.

This is a great new show to start watching.  Season 2 is starting, so now is a great time to own season one on DVD.
