Synopsis: Deep in the heart of Africa lies Wakanda, an advanced and unconquerable civilization. Review: Marvel Comics is often times ahead of DC Comics in technology and quality.  I say this as a HUGE DC Comics fan.  I do have Marvel characters that I have love for, mostly in the X-Men crew and I can honestly say that Marvel is usually on top.  This is the one exception to the rule.  DC has been putting out the DC Universe Original Animated films, which are fantastic.  Marvel has yet to do this.  Their first organized foray into animation is this new Marvel Knights series of motion comics, brought to DVD by the good people at Shout! Factory.   The motion comic concept has been utilized by DC since the Watchmen movie.

I will be honest, although I don't usually dig motion comics, these Marvel Knights DVDs are wonderful!  We're also going to spotlight the Iron Man and Astonishing X-Men DVDs on the site today.  We recommend picking them all up.  Its phenominal to see a character like Black Panther FINALLY get his due!  It may take a few minutes to adjust to the style of the motion comic animation, but once you do its well worth it.  Great story...great art.
