Review: Its rare that a film like Piranha 3D comes along.  We get a lot of summer blockbuster types in 3D, but the horror genre has yet to experience a huge influx, mostly due to the costly nature of the 3D tech.  Fortunately, the Weinstein brothers have our back!

Piranha 3D is an absolute gore-fest!  We're talking buckets of blood and guts.  The film is not only full of gratuitous violence, but also some cool celebrity guest stars, including Christopher Lloyd and Richard Dreyfuss.  The 3D blu-ray is fantastic!  here is absolutely no ghosting or image breakdown...this is a smooth transfer!  You should really think about investing in a 3D tv and blu-ray player if you haven't yet!  Its well worth your money.  This tech is here to stay!  Don't have a 3D player or TV yet?  Its ok, this plays in 2D blu-ray, as well.  You can buy it now and have the 3D aspect for later!
