Nana Uncut Box Set 3 DVD Review
Nana Uncut Box Set 3 DVD Review
Synopsis: Love can mend your life--but will it tear the Nanas apart? Nana K. is happily involved with Takumi from Trapnest, though she doesn't fully trust him. Nana O. graciously stays away from the apartment for a while, and both Nanas feel the loneliness of their separation. Then in the midst of Blast preparing to sign their first record deal, Nobu makes a surprise confession to Nana K. Now she must make a difficult choice, and someone's heart is bound to be broken.
Review: There are many types of anime out there. They can range from violent and action-packed to campy and ridiculous. Nana is neither of these. This is without a doubt one of the most real-life dramas that I've seen put into animated form. Its like watching a Grey's Anatomy or Desperate Housewives animated series. Its rather impressive.
Nana enters a complicated love triangle now with Nobu, Hachi and Takumi, and the world around her begins to crumble. These episodes examine how she deals with the stresses of her life and we get to journey with her as she strives to accept life's struggles.
I would highly recommend this set for any fan of Nana. There isn't much in the way of extras, but the high quality story, animation and voice dubbing is well worth the cost.
