Synopsis: Alonzo Bodden (Winner of NBC's "Last Comic Standing") tackles the abusrdity of pop culture and the decline of western civilization in this hilarious 2010 New York stand-up concert. Real estate in rap music, swine flu, highway construction and pirates are just a few of the topics Alonzo broaches in this irreverent and ironically funny take on what’s happening in the world today.

Review: We LOVE stand-up comedy here at the Legion.  We see so much of it that we're actually very critical of new comics.  We were introduced to Alonzo Bodden by NBC's Last Comic Standing tv show.  I had never seen Alonzo's act until we got ahold of this DVD. 

I have to say that I really enjoyed Alonzo's act.  He covers current commentary..everything from fear caused by the news media to race to celebrity scandal.  His points are clear, funny and hard to argue with.  One reviewer has likened him to Carlin...I can see that in a way.  He makes some good points that you can't disagree with, much like George would.  This DVD gave us consistant laughs and was a great time.  We highly recommend.
