Synopsis: A SMALL TOWN SINGER MOVES TO THE BIG CITY WHERE SHE VIEW FOR HER CHANCE AT STARDOM AT THE SIZZLING BURLESQUE NIGHTCLUB.

Review: Burlesque is one of those films that had a lot of potential to be fantastic.  It brought the legendary Cher out of hiding and gives Christina Aguilera the chance to show her acting chops.  Obviously both are amazing singers and talents.  This film is not one that will appeal to the general public, its really best for those that absolutely adore fantastical musicals with classic themes.  This mythical burlesque club might appeal best to younger tween to teen audiences.  The song numbers are great and Christina looks beautiful.  Its a fun watch, just don't take it too seriously.
