Review: Jolene is primarily a coming of age drama.  Its about a young girl, orphaned and married far too young, that breaks free of her life and sets off on a journey across the country to find herself.  The film is overall inspiring..to see her spirit and determination, but honestly its a huge bummer to watch the realities of what she faces while on her own and at the hands of the populace.  Its a good film for those that enjoy serious drama.   Jessica Chastain, who plays the lead of Jolene, is a fantastic actress.  She does a wonderful job of portraying naivety and innocense, and the growth into reality.
