Review: This Iron Man show debuted back in 1994 when the X-Men cartoon on Fox was in full-swing.   A new Fantastic Four cartoon premiered at the same time.  All the while, the Spiderman show is also going strong.  This was a strong time for Marvel animation on television.

I didn't watch this Iron Man show back then, but I have since heard a lot about it, so I was enthussed to see Disney release it on DVD.  This DVD release represents the full series, two seasons.  The first season has a organ-based theme song and its very light-hearted.  I'd even say it borders on cheesy at times.  The second season changed the theme, but the stories got a lot more interesting.  They are a bit darker and more in-depth.

This series features everyone from War Machine and Whiplash to Spider-Woman.  Its a fun watch and a great addition to any animation collection.  With Iron Man 2 coming out this weekend, its the perfect time to pick this one up!
