Review: The History Channel produces some of the best programming that I've ever seen.  I really enjoy the interesting takes that they provide and the high production quality of their specials.  The Nostradamus Effect explores the rather absurd claims of not only Nostradamus, but other supernatural sources like the bible and other mythologies throughout history.  This special captured my interest right away by the sheer variance of subject matter.  You can see the listing of episodes above, it covers everything from WWII to the end of the world, as told by the Christians.

These shows are fantastic.  They go in-depth into each myth and examine any possible validity or prophecy that could be involved and debunk any obvious disconnection.  The narration is fantastic and the production qualities are right on-par with all History Channel shows.

I highly recommend picking up this series.  Its one of those that you can pop-in anytime and enjoy.  To own a piece of great programming like this makes DVDs all worth while for me.   I can always get behind something educational and fun.  Thanks again for another great show, keep up the great work History Channel!  Without you we'd be stuck watching re-runs of Road Rules.
