Review:
The pay-per-view 'Genesis' begins with Hollywood Hogan coming to the ring with Eric Biscoff for a discussion about WWE and how he is proud to be at TNA and how he's going to revolutionize TNA with Dixie Carter. "Whatcha gonna do Vince McMahon, now that TNA is comin' for you, brother?.....or sister?"
That first monologue sets a tone for the rest of the event. Taz and Mike Tenay provide great commentary, as usual. These two are absolute professionals.

The matches are good overall throughout the event. The X-Division championship is a little more amateurish, but the other matches are pure quality.
One highlight for me is the footage backstage with Hogan talking to 'The Band'. Its always so great to see Nash and Hall together. There is a funny moment where Scott Hall and Syxx-Pac do rock-paper-scissors to figure out who is going to tag-team with Nash.
I noticed that Abyss acts far crazier than he is on weekly events these days. I enjoy that aspect of him far more in this pay-per-view. The event also marks the arrival of the Nature Boy, Rick Flair on TNA.
The camera angles and filming quality has definately improved since the Hulkster has been on-board. This pay-per-view is full of good quality full-length matches and plenty of backstage development. Its definately a good buy.
Rating: Professional Wrestling, TNA Wrestling, Hulk Hogan, AJ Styles, Kurt Angle, Abyss
