Superboy: The Complete Third Season DVD Review!

Synopsis: From the producers of the Superman films comes the adventures of a young Man of Steel who, disguised as Clark Kent, mild-mannered journalism student at Shuster University, fights a never-ending battle for truth and justice against his archnemesis, Lex Luther, and other supervillains -- all while trying to sweep Lana Lang off her feet.

Review:  Superboy was one of the four live action Superman TV show incarnations.  This one aired back in the late 1980s and early 1990s.  This show was immediately followed-up by the now legendary Lois & Clark and Smallville many years later.   Superboy was a little sillier overall than some of the other Superman shows, but the story arcs were definately there with a lot of nods to some of the classic comic book tales, as well as some modern era.  This season Clark and Lana begin working for the Bureau for Extra-Normal Matters, which is basically an X-Files like brach of the government that is investigating aliens..you know, like Superboy!   This season saw a more serious turn in the show.  Things got a little darker..at least for Superboy.  This is my personal favorite season and the point where I feel the show really picked up!  This DVD is only available online in a manufacture on demand capacity.  You won't find it in retail stores!

Interest Range: TV Shows
