Enough Said Blu-Ray Review
Synopsis:
James Gandolfini, Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Catherine Keener shine in this
heartwarming comedy that A.O. Scott of The New York Times calls "a small miracle
of a movie." Divorced mom Eva (Louis-Dreyfus) may be falling for Albert
(Gandolfini), a sweet, funny, like-minded divorc‚. But as their relationship
blossoms, Eva befriends Marianne (Keener), who's always complaining about her
ex-husband. When Eva realizes that Albert is the target of Marianne's rants, she
begins to question her own perceptions about first impressions and second
chances.
Review: The first thing that strikes you about this film is the cast. Julia Louis-Dreyfus is a really lovable screw up, and always has been since her days in Seinfeld. The late, great James Gandolfini, on the other hand, still projects a certain power and respectability from his days on the Sopranos. His character in this, while hulking, is far from menacing. He's gentle, sweet and kind. This is a great examination of relationships and how easy it is to self sabotage. Its a great watch and definately one to add to your own library!
