Synopsis: The Guard is a comedic, fish out of water tale of murder, blackmail, drug trafficking, and rural police corruption. Two cops (Gleeson and Cheadle) one an unorthodox Irish policeman and the other, a straitlaced FBI agent, must join forces to take on an international drug-smuggling gang.

Review: The Guard is an atypical buddy flick that centers around a gruff cop and a straight-laced FBI agent working together to stop a drug shipment.   This one is half billed as a comedy, but its really not so much on the funny.  Its a good movie and the crime drama is there and of course the contrast in personalities is amusing, but there aren't much for laughs.  Don Cheadle is an amazing actor and always worth a watch, so we do recommend the Guard.
