Review:  Lockout is one of those features that reminds me of something that I saw back in the 1990s...like Fortress.  This feature takes place in space and those of ill-repute are sent there.  This one has very ambitious action and great characterization.  The film does borrow elements very clearly from Die Hard, Escape from New York and many others, but it does it in such a way that you can take this film as a love letter to the sci-fi/action genres.  This one is a good watch thanks to a usual top notch performance from Guy Pearce.
