Mickey's Christmas Carol 30th Anniversary - Special Edition (Blu-ray/DVD + Digital Copy) Review

Synopsis: Ring in the holidays with a new 30th Anniversary Special Edition of Mickey’s Christmas Carol. Disney’s timeless tale sparkles like never before on Blu-ray and Digital Copy, with fully-restored classic holiday shorts, plus all-new bonus features.

Make the season merry as Mickey, Goofy, Donald and all their pals star in a heartwarming retelling of Dickens’ unforgettable holiday tale. Ebenezer Scrooge (Scrooge McDuck) is far too greedy to understand that Christmas is a time for kindness and generosity. But with the guidance of some wise ghosts (Goofy and Jiminy Cricket) and a bunch of newfound friends, Scrooge learns to embrace the spirit of the season. Share this wonderful holiday treat with the whole family.

Review: One of the finest Disney films, and holiday Xmas films, is the animated Mickey's Christmas Carol!  We have gotten the film released on VHS and recently on DVD in a few versions, but now we finally get the long awaited transfer into high-definition blu-ray.  Let me tell you, I have read a lot of transfer snobs online complaining about the ratios, but when my family watched it, we thought it looked amazing.  This is a must have for anyone that loves Disney, Mickey..or even just Xmas.  This one should be in everyone's library, and this ultimate anniversary edition is just the way to do it!

This special anniversary edition blu-ray includes some sing alongs and other extras, like these fantastic shorts, previously only available in Disney Treasures: Yodelberg (all-new Minnie and Mickey), The Hockey Champ (Donald and his nephews), Pluto's Christmas Tree (Pluto and Chip & Dale), The Art of Skiing (Goofy) and Corn Chips (Donald and Chip & Dale).

Interest Range: Animation, Disney, Holiday
