Review: There are a lot of versions of this film, all based on the classic novel. This version is the now classic 1978 version. Its coming to blu-ray for the first time, just in time for Halloween! The cast of this film is amazing, it includes everyone from Leonard Nimoy and Jeff Goldblum to Donald Sutherland.
The transfer onto blu-ray high-definition actually looks really great for such an old film! This is the classic tale of the pod people that come to earth in search of a new world and infest its inhabitants. The acting is fantastic and the script is great. This is a wonderful cult classic to enjoy this Halloween season!
