The League: The Complete First Season Blu-Ray Review

The League: The Complete First Season Blu-Ray Review

Synopsis: Get drafted into the hilarious first season of The League, a full-contact look at the hyper-competitive, hysterically unrestrained world of fantasy football! The League's members are a tight crew of long-time buddies, but that doesn't stop an all-out blitz of trash-talking, deceit and ruthless extortion. Watch as their obsession with winning the highly coveted, yet utterly absurd championship trophy impacts their careers, sex lives, families and above all -- their dignity.

Review: The League is a show that I hadn't watched until I got ahold of this blu-ray.  Its a funny show and another addition to the comedy line-up from the FX network.  The show is very football centric and focuses on a crazy group of sports fans and friends.

Essentially, if I had to describe the League I would say its a sister show to It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia.  The League tries very hard to push the boundries of what is acceptable and appropriate.   The results are sometimes mixed, but overall its a funny show.

The special features on this blu-ray set include: Blooper Reel, Deleted Scenes, Alt Nation, Three Penis Wine Infomerical, Vaginal Hubris Extended, Birthday Song, Legalize Kevin's Pubic Smoke, Mr. McGibblets Fun House and Dojo, Andre: Dress with Style, Win with Style, Bonus Feature from FX: “Archer” Pilot Episode.

Interest Range: Comedy, Tv Show
