Review: Bridesmaids has a huge amount of hype following it around these days.  Its touted as the best comedy of the year..by some the best comedy ever!  In league with the Hangover.  We didn't see this film in the theaters, so this is our first experience with Bridesmaids, after being tained by the hype machine.  I found the film to be charming and funny.  That said, I think the hype is a bit overblown.  All the actors in the film are fantastic and definately on their game.  The script is there and the life-affirming story is certainly nice in the end.   This is a great date movie..something that everyone can enjoy and get things out of.  The unrated DVD is definately the way to go to squeeze some more inappropriate humor out of the film!
