Modern Family: The Complete Second Season Blu-Ray Review

Synopsis: Winner of six Emmy® Awards, including Outstanding Comedy Series, Modern Family is a refreshingly hilarious look at what it means to be a family in today’s hectic, unpredictable world. While fledgling fathers Cameron and Mitchell struggle with learning the ropes of parenthood, long-time parents Claire and Phil try to keep the spice in their marriage amid the chaos of raising three challenging children. Meanwhile, family patriarch, Jay, has more than his hands full with his sexy, spirited wife, Gloria, and her precocious son. Still, no matter the size, shape or situation, family always comes first in this laugh-out-loud, critically acclaimed hit.

Review: Modern Family is a hilarious newer TV comedy.  Its shot in a similar style to the Office.  This show follows the various facets of a crazy and misguided family as they attempt to interact and get along.  The show features all types of archetypes, but among the most entertaining is the TV return of Ed O'Neill.   His comedic timing is perfect, as always, and its a joy to see him in a series again.  This show is funny and it has a great ensemble cast.  The second season is more of the same great comedy.

The special features include: Disc 1: Deleted Family Interviews, Deleted and Extended Scenes, Strangers on a Treadmill - Table Read and Mitch's Flash Mob.  Disc 2: Deleted Family Interviews, Deleted and Extended Scenes and “Imagine Me Naked” Music Video. Disc 3: Deleted Family Interviews, Deleted and Extended Scenes, Gag-Reel, Modern Family Holidays, Waiting for Oprah, Chatting with Steve Levitan and At Home with Modern Family.

Interest Range: TV shows, Comedy
