Hanna Blu-Ray Review

Synopsis: Raised by her father (Eric Bana), an ex-CIA agent, in the wilds of Finland, Hanna's upbringing and training have been one and the same, all geared to making her the perfect assassin. The turning point in her adolescence is a sharp one. Sent into the world by her father on a mission, Hanna journeys stealthily across Europe, eluding agents dispatched after her by a ruthless intelligence operative with secrets of her own (Cate Blanchett). As she nears her ultimate target, Hanna faces startling revelations about her existence.

Review: This is a fantastic action drama that really turns out to be a coming of age film.  The acting talents of Eric Bana and Cate Blanchett really light-up the screen, while the main characters shines as a great young talent.  The movie showcases this young girl, trained as an assasin from birth, as she goes on a huge journey that teaches her about herself and really enables her to blossom and grow.  You really root for Hanna and develop a great emotional attachment to her throughout the movie.  This one is definately worth watching again and again.

Interest Range: Action, Drama
