Review: Doctor Who is one of the longest running and coolest sci-fi shows out there. The BBC brought it back years ago, much to our glee. This DVD release represent the ENTIRE sixth season, plus the Xmas special. This go around we get a new Doctor and all the usual great british flavor of comedy. This show just keeps getting better and better for Who fans. If you're already into the show, then you know what I'm talking about. If you're a whobie (heh) then you can start wherever you like, since the Doc is reborn every season!
The special features on this DVD include: 5 Night and the Doctor specially recorded scenes exclusive to DVD, 5 specially recorded episode prequels, 2 sketches recorded for the UK’s Comic Relief charity event, 4 Monster Files - Get under the skin and inside the minds of the Doctor’s most challenging opponents, Doctor Who Confidential - An inside look at each episode, Bonus Doctor Who Confidential – “A Night’s Tale” about the exclusive DVD scenes, Audio Commentary on select episodes and BBC1 Trails.
