Futurama: Volume 7 DVD Review
Synopsis:
Crank up the gravity and put your head safely in a jar! It's Volume Seven of
FUTURAMA - the animated sci-fi comedy from The Simpsons creator Matt Groening.
Crammed with a whole new dimension of extras not shown on TV, this cosmic
collection includes 13 bizarre and brilliant episodes involving ancient
prophecies, Presidents' heads, robot gangsters, angry butterflies, and of
course, sausage-making. It's a shipload of futuristic fun!
Review: Futurama is back with more great DVD offerings! This DVD set gives us 13 more episodes of the same great comedy that fans of the show have come to expect. In fact, these are some of the better episodes out there, in our opinion. This is one of those great, non-serialized shows, so you can just pick and episode or two to watch, no order is necessary, so even if you haven't collected previous volumes, you can pick right up and grab this one. It'd also make a great Xmas gift idea!
The special features on this DVD include: Full-length Commentary on All 13 Episodes, Bonus Commentary on Episode 7.02, "A Farewell To Arms", by
the Animators of Rough Draft Studios, Alternate Ending for Episode 7.05, "Zapp Dingbat", Christopher Tyng's Big Score: A Jam Session with Futurama's
Innovative Composer, Futurama Karaoke: Sing Along with Your Favorite
Characters, Möbius Trip: Infinite Futurama Screen Loops and Too Good For TV: A
Smorgasbord of Deleted Scene.
