Thunderstruck Blu-Ray / DVD Review

Synopsis: When Brian, a hopelessly uncoordinated young fan magically switches talents with his basketball hero (NBA Superstar Kevin Durant, playing himself), he becomes the star of his high school team while Kevin Durant suddenly can’t make a shot to save his life. But with the playoffs approaching, Brian learns that being a true winner involves working hard at your own game, and he tries to make things right in time to prevent a catastrophic end to his hero’s season.

Review: We're not big sports fans or sports movie fans here at the Legion, but films like Thunderstruck help to broaden our perspective.  NBA star Kevin Durant is a pretty decent actor, albeit playing himself, and the kid Brian is a joy to watch.  This is a cute film about a kid who magically changes talents with his favorite pro basketball player and the hijinks that ensue for him and the upset for the player.  This one was charming, funny and definately a great family film.

The special features on this set include: KD's Klinic: - From Backboards to Clapboards - Deleted Scenes.

Interest Range: Comedy
