Get in on the action as Steven Seagal Lawman chronicles Seagals extraordinary life in law enforcement, riding shotgun as he and his hand-selected team of deputies respond to crimes-in-progress. Then, follow Seagal off-duty as he pursues his many ventures including musical performances and philanthropic efforts in Jefferson Parish and New Orleans.

Review: I grew up watching Steven Seagal movies.  For the life of me now, I have no idea why.  I also watched every Jean-Claude Van Damme film.  Again, no idea why now, but I really enjoyed these cheesy martial arts flicks.  Seagal always stood apart due to his calm demeanor and unique martial arts style.  When I heard that they were doing a reality show following him around as an office of the law, I just couldn't miss that!

We tuned in the first night and I watched through the entire first season.  I thought it'd be good to spotlight the first season DVD release for you all, because this show is not only hilarious, but its fantastic entertainment.   I had no idea that he was a deputized sheriff in Louisiana.  He basically rides around in the passenger seat of an SUV, rambling about various philosopies and sociological theories he has, all the while using what can only be described as 'Spidey-Sense' to locate criminals on the street.  Once they're in pursuit, an overweight Seagal bark orders to to the other cops as they chase after criminals.  Then, once thats over the perps all crowd around Seagal and want his autograph.  Its really insane.

I love this show.  Its one of the best on television right now.  Its so hilarious and fun to watch.  Its a complete train wreck and thats what makes reality tv great, isn't it?

Rating: 5 out of 5 Stars
