Synopsis: A happy couple for over thirty years, Tom (Broadbent) and Gerri (Sheen) act as a steady anchor to their unmarried circle of family and friends, including single, middle-aged Mary (Manville). But as the seasons change and another year passes, Tom and Gerri’s support is put to the test in this masterful look at life, love and the meaning of friendship.

Review: Another Year is a film about the complexities of love and why some can find it and some cannot.  Mike Leigh is a fantastic and unique filmmaker who brings his unique view onto the screen.   This married couple is settled in together and quite happy.  Their needy and single friend Mary falls in love with their son and the drama ensues!
