Out on Blu-ray and DVD June 21
Cedar Rapids is the hilarious story about Tim Lippe (Ed Helms) who is sent by his insurance company which he work for to Cedar Rapids, Iowa to represent his company at an annual insurance convention, where he quickly finds himself under the guidance of three convention veterans.
Who Invited this Guy To the Party?
Everyone either knows one or is one in their very own crew: the friend that somehow gets invited to all the parties or rides someone’s coattails to a party. Tim Lippe (Ed Helms) is warned about the boozing antics of Dean Ziegler (John C. Reilly) before the conference, but nothing can really prepare him for his larger-than-life personality. Dean Ziegler is known at the ASMI insurance awards for the big partier. You can find him at Horizons buying rounds or walking into a pool with his cloths still on and trash can top on his head. For this feature, we will compare Dean’s persona with that of similar party goers who go above and beyond the call of what it means to party like its 1999. In honor of Dean’s larger than life style of partying, we are taking you back through cinema history to look at the Top Party Animals!

He is the leader of the Pit, which means one thing this guy knows how to have is a good time, and shake things up a bit. His wild Antics offend everyone on campus from the Womynists a radical feminist group to the secret society Balls and Shaft. Even the dean Ms Garcia Thompson who runs the PCU campus with an iron fist is trying to shut Droze’s infamous pit down. As much as he tries to get parties going they are always shut down due to the campus strict policy on it but with a little help from a pre freshmen visiting who happens to get the entire campus wanting his head on a platter Droz will shake up the campus and give the people what they want, a Party.

4.Steve Stiffler (Sean William Scott) - American Pie

Steve Stiffler is definitely that guy. The one who passed high school with straight c’s got drunk every weekend and always looking for a girl to hook up with. It’s just another coming of age tale about five friends who seek to get it in before they graduate high school and ship off to college and lose the most important thing on their minds… losing their virginity. In this raunchy hilarious tale Jim (Jason Biggs) and his best friends seek to lose it before the next step.

What isn’t there to be said about Billy Madison? He lives a party animals dream where he gets to drink all day everyday by the pool with his two best friends Frank (Norm Macdonald) and Jack (Mark Beltzman) because his dad owns the largest chain of hotels in North America. Whether Billy is so drunk to the point that he sees invisible penguins, or having argument between a bottle of shampoo and conditioner, to doing keg stands and crushing beers for breakfast by the pool. Billy Madison definitely makes our list of top party animals hands down. But when Billy finds out that his father wont give him the company Billy looks to shape up so that he can gain control by redoing every grade of elementary school to high school as a bet to gain control of his dads legacy.

Frank The Tank Ricard is infamously known for streaking through the quad and into the gymnasium and is defiantly one of the top the ultimate party animals. Driving in his Pontiac Trans Am with an illegal restrictor plate Frank knows how to get down with such party antics like shooting himself with animal tranquilizer gun and getting on the stage of a Snoop Dogg concert with no clothes on. Either way, Frank the Tank is truly one of the biggest party animals and to that we salute you. Frank’s other alias is the Big Cat, whose best friend Mitch Martin aka The Godfather (Luke Wilson) after recently breaking up with his girlfriend.  John Pluto Blutarsky, grade point average 0.00. John Belushi stars in arguably his best role ever as Pluto a guy who may not say a whole lot but certainly knows how to party and shake up on the Faber College campus. Whether it’s starting food fights in the cafeteria or getting his frat brothers of Delta Tau Chi all riled up by giving ludicrous speeches only to lead into wild toga parties. John Pluto Blutarsky rounds out our Top 5 at Number One because he is the original party animal and the best there ever was. The story is about a group of characters in the Delta Tau Chi Fraternity who are deemed the worst house on campus by Dean Vernon Wormer (John Vemon) who is trying by any means necessary to get them thrown off campus. But the troublemaking frat won’t go down without a fight and prove to ruin Dean Wormer’s plans.
