Marvel Knights: Spider-Woman Agent Of S.W.O.R.D DVD Review

Synopsis: With Jessica Drew still reeling from the effects of having been sedated and physically replaced on Earth by the Skrull Queen Veranke, the last thing in the world she wants to encounter is another Skrull invasion. But when Jessica is approached by Abigail Brand, a mysterious agent of S.W.O.R.D., she finds that the urge within herself to inflict vengeance upon the Skrulls is too overwhelming to deny.

The acclaimed, intensely written and beautifully illustrated seven-issue miniseries by Eisner Award winners Brian Michael Bendis and Alex Maleev finally comes to life in this stunning Marvel Knights presentation not to be missed!

Review: The Marvel Knights series of motion comics are absolutely amazing.  We've had the opportunity to feature the Iron Man and X-Men DVDs last year.  Now, we're pleased to present Spider-Woman!  This one is based on the seven-part mini-series by Brian Michael Bendis, a comic book legend.  The motion comics are a ton of fun.  You may need to get used to the format at first, but you get the original artwork from the comic book series, which is a great treat.  We highly recommend this release.  Its a fantastic Marvel tale.

The special features on this DVD include: Behind the scenes of Marvel Knights animation, Visual history of Spider-Woman, Exclusive music video and Trailers.

Interest Range: Marvel Comics, Motion Comics
