Anonymous poses one possible answer, focusing on a time when cloak-and-dagger political intrigue, illicit romances in the Royal Court, and the schemes of greedy nobles hungry for the power were exposed in the most unlikely of places: the London stage.

Review: There has been conjecture about whether Shakespeare's work was his own.  These legends have survived decades and are addressed in this fantastic new epic film, Anonymous.   Anyone interested in historical drama will love this one...and don't let the name Shakespeare fool you..even those not into this writing will be far from bored.   This one is a total win.
