Review: I remember when this book first debuted and I reviewed it on my book review website. It was the beginning of a new era of mixed fiction that revises actual historical facts with fantasy and sci-fi elements. Ok, I know that on the surface this film sounds just silly, right? Well, wrong. The movie does such an amazing job of creating credible costumes, sets and characters that you truly feel like you're watching a historical drama. Then, with the addition of the vampire, which is in itself a historical monster, the meshing of the two legends ends up being quite epic. There is a reason that Tim Burton produced this film. Are YOU going to argue with Tim Burton? I know we're not. We definately recommend this one with two firm thumbs up!
