Review: The Universe is one of the coolest series on History.  This great boxed set 3D Blu-Ray release features a few compilation discs that run about 45 minutes each.  They are as follows:

Disc 1 Sun & Moon 3D
Disc 2 Jupiter & Saturn 3D
Disc 3 Mars, Mercury & Venus 3D

This is a great overview of the series and would make a fantastic Xmas gift for the geek on your list!  I know I'm thrilled to add it to our viewing library.  This show is not only great for adults, its a wonderful visual teaching tool for your school-aged children.  The 3D on this set is fantastic and does only work on 3D capable TVs and Blu-Ray players, but also contains regular 2D Blu-Ray versions for you to enjoy, as well!
