Review: If you're into Dc Comics animation then you're probably familiar with the Fleischer studios Superman cartoon. These shorts were serialized in theaters back in the 1940s and were used as inspiration for a lot of future animation, including the epic Batman: The Animated Series. These shorts still hold up so well and they're now transfered into high-definition for a blu-ray release. I was skeptical about how this would look, but the transfer is perfect. The cartoons look better than ever and this is without a doubt the best way that you can enjoy and collect these great Superman shorts. We highly recommend this release.
