iCarly Season 2, Volume 2 DVD Review

iCarly Season 2, Volume 2 DVD Review

Synopsis: A whole new collection of iCarly episodes are coming to DVD with iCarly: Season 2, Volume 2.  This brand-new set includes the hour-long “iFight Shelby Marx” movie, Sam’s surprising confession of having shared a kiss with Freddie, Carly’s bad-boy boyfriend dilemma and much more!  Nickelodeon’s groundbreaking hit series stars Miranda Cosgrove as Carly, the host of an incredibly popular teen web show. Created by Nickelodeon Home Entertainment and distributed by Paramount Home Entertainment, iCarly: Season 2, Volume 2 comes out on DVD Jan. 4, 2011 for the suggested retail price of $19.99.

Review: My kids make me watch a lot of crap.  A LOT.  I have found that programming geared towards tweens and young adults is mostly too dramatic or too absurd.  iCarly hits right in the middle by being not only charming, but funny and engaging....even for adults.

This DVD set is the second volume of episodes from season two.  The DVD even includes the first two episodes of season three.  The show trucks right along, having already hit a great stride with the characters and unfolding plots.  The great thing about iCarly is that you can tune into any episode in any season and get some great entertainment.  I love everyone from Carly and Sam to Carly's older brother...its all just fantastic.

The special features on this DVD include: Behind-the-Scenes Extras, Is That Me I See?, Reed For 2 Minutes with Mandy, Locker Tours and Doors To Nowhere.
