LeapFrog: Numbers Ahoy DVD Review

Synopsis: Navigate number skills on a pirate adventure with Tad, Lily, and Scout! Tad and Lily need a little number sense to help them get through a complicated game, so their magical firefly friend, Edison, takes them on a fantastical journey under the sea! When their cute puppy pal, Scout, is mistakenly captured by a pirate, they must use their new understanding of numbers, counting, and estimation to rescue him. Join them as they navigate the deep and face foes such as sharks and crab henchmen—even Pirate Pythagoras himself—and begin to see numbers in a whole new way!

Review:The LeapFrog gang is always a great source of both educational content and entertainment for little ones.  Their DVDs are not only fun to watch, but the learning content is strong and the songs are well produced.

This great learning DVD has the new character, Scout, heavily featured, which my kids loved.  The animation is in the new design, which first premiered in LeapFrog: Lets Go To School, which we reviewed last year.  One thing also of note...the LeapFrog DVDs now include closed captioning, which is wonderful.  Overall, this was a great watch, the kids loved it and they definately learned a lot.  Highly recommended!
