Synopsis: The Dark Knight along with new sidekick Robin have finally reclaimed Gotham City and allowed a ray of hope to penetrate the reign of terror that The Mutants had cast upon his city. Review: There are few things in the life of a Batman fan that bring as much unbridled and unabashed joy thank Frank Miller's Batman work from the 1980s. The first volume of this dystopian future was brought to animation late last year. Now, we get the much anticipated conclusion. The aging Batman is materfully brought to life by the gritty Peter Weller, while the contrast of real life teenager Ariel Winter does a phenominal job of the female Robin, Carrie Kelley. Jay Oliva does an amazing job of bringing this epic graphic novel to life. This DCU animated film helps to remind me why I love Batman so much. This one is an absolute MUST have!
