Harland Williams: A Force of Nature DVD Review

Synopsis: HARLAND WILLIAMS has done it again! On the fringe of genius, on the outer edge of bizarre, on the far horizon of fall-down funny, Harland takes comedy to whole new frontier! On a mountaintop deep in the Mojave Desert, away from the plush safety of the typical comedy club filled with his adoring fans, Harland courageously takes on Mother Nature in a hilarious stand-up set on the world’s biggest stage. Get ready for a bold new experiment in comedy that pays off in the kind of laughs only Harland Williams can provide!

Review: The first time I saw Harland Williams was in Dumb and Dumber as the urine drinking cop.  Then, we saw him as a serial killer in There's Something About Mary.  Harland has this naturally bizarre style that reminds me of Bobcat Goldthwait.  He's odd, quirky, but hilarious and terribly inappropriate with his stand-up. This experimental special takes him away from the audience and literally outdoors in the desert.  Its odd, but it sure gets your attention and the set his hilarious.  This one is a great watch.

Interest Range: Comedy
