Review: Judy Moody and the Not Bummer Summer is based on the Judy Moody series of kids books by author Megan McDonald.  Its about Judy, who gets stuck home all summer with her annoying little brother, Stink, and her Aunt Opal while her friends go away for the season!  She thinks that its going to be a major bummer, but hilarity ensues!  Anyone familiar with this book series will really be into the film.  Its really geared for 6 to 10 year olds and it hits this target audience hard!  They LOVE it!  My kids, ages 7 and 9, went nuts!  The film is fun and quirky, with a few animated sequences interjected, and a lot of laughs.
