Review: The Hour is a vintage 1956 BBC television show that centers around an ad agency, but is without a doubt one of the first great thrillers on television.  The feel can be compared to the popular modern show "Mad Men" and certainly some of the clothing and attitudes would reflect that, but this one is really more focused on the plot.  The style is simply an afterthought of the era.  This six episode story arc takes us on a thrill ride that is full of intrigue and well developed characters that all come together to create an addictive drama.  If only there had been more of this one made!
