Review: The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes is the first decent cartoon to feature this legendary Marvel hero team.  These two DVD series represent the second half of season one.  IF you want the complete season one on DVD you need volumes 1-4.   Throughout season one we get a team of Iron Man, Hulk, Hawkeye, Black Panther, Captain America, The Wasp, Giant-Man and Thor.  It starts solidly enough and has some great stories that borrow from several different eras of the comic books.  This one is a must for any Marvel fan and is great fun for kids.  This is a nice way to get your kids into your favorite comic book heroes.

The Volume Three special features include: Avengers Unmasked: Masters Of Evil -- An Animated In-Episode Comic Book Experience Loaded With Fun Facts On Marvel's Avengers And The Villains That Challenge Them.   The Volume Four special features include: Avengers Unmasked: Hail, Hydra! -- An Animated In-Episode Comic Book Experience Loaded With Fun Facts On Marvel's Avengers And The Villains That Challenge Them.

Interest Range: Animation, Marvel Comics
